When did you realize you were a quirky black girl?
When I convinced my 10th grade AP English group that we should do an interpretive dance for our presentation on the Crucible. We danced to Like a Prayer. Also in middle school I used to write really terrifying horror stories, so much so that my teachers wanted to "check in" with my parents.
What does "quirky" mean to you?
fun weirdness
What does "black" mean to you?
original, whole, deep, soulful
What does "girl" mean to you?
fun, inquisitive, fresh, light
What kind of quirky things do you like to do?
break out into song in response to words people say, make connections, iron money, do little silly dances, speak in a british accent :)
