- When did you realize you were a quirky black girl?
- I realized when i was in fourth grade, instead of obsessing over the spice girls, i wanted to be a planeteer (from the cartoon captain planet). Instead of obsessing over Britney i was a die hard pink fan... I just like different.
Today I realize that quirky was my way to cope, my way to forge my own space in a time where everyone was so ruthlessly trying to be the same.
- What does "quirky" mean to you?
- I interpret quirky to mean pleasantly off, or alluringly strange. I draw confidence from my quirky, and embrace to fact that my views are slightly off center
- What kind of quirky things do you like to do?
- I really enjoy litening to live music and keep a music blog. I enjoy shopping at thrift stores. And kitschy home decorations make me smile.
- How do you embrace your quirky?
- I embrace it but just being me. I like being a quirky chick, i'd never reject that side of me.
- What does your ideal quirky black girl world look like?
- My ideal quirky black girl world would be one in which i had a community of fellows. It grows tiring to be one of only a few qbgs.

Not only is Lily Allen Back on the scene with her new single 'fever', she owning the scene!
Lily Allen is a Cover song Queen. I remember falling in love with her after hearing her cover the Kooks "native". She made the song sound oh so sweet, and queered up the song a bit .. which is always a good way to get gay chicks to dig your stuff lol.
Her latest Genious Cover is her rendition of Britney Spears' 'womanizer' Mixed by Mark Ronson. These to make a great team! ...... this track is So good!… Continue

but i hadda leave for mass b/c even w/ all the blackness, i still felt outta place...if i wasnt rockin what everybody else was, then i get looked at cross-eyed, which is bullshit...but that's what we do, right? not give a shit!!! lol. are u in school?
