When did you realize you were a quirky black girl?
MMMM probably when people began to give me the strange looks and say" You re so weird" which was about when I was 11...lol
What does "quirky" mean to you?
Quirky to me means eccentric, free spirited, different, fun, funny, and openly strange
What does "black" mean to you?
BLACK.... that takes alot more for me to explain. The MEANING of the word black doesn't have anything to do with what it represents. Black-adj. meaning characterized by absence of light, enveloped by darkness, soiled or stained with dirt, pessimistic, gloomy , and dismal. I do not Identify with the MEANING of black. However, Black REPRESENTS most about myself that I Cherish. Beauty, Strength, Resilience,Power and Pride ,everything that is good and honest about me.
What does "girl" mean to you?
I'm not sure if I would consider myself a girl. Not because I feel like I've crossed some important rights of passage in to woman hood, I simply don't enjoy trying to define things that have already been define for me...
What kind of quirky things do you like to do?
hmmmmmm Let's see. I love to try and get lost( I think that's a fun feeling), I love to try to use something of mine to make something else,I like to try and make voices( I'm not good at it at ALL), I like to stand in the mirror with my twin sis and try to make the same face(Been doing that for years). I like to pretend i'm a baby lol( Even i think that weird)
How do you embrace your quirky?
I embrace my quirkiness by not caring what other ppl think about the things I do or how I act. It helps when you are honest with yourself, you tend to meet ppl who love the honest you.
What does your ideal quirky black girl world look like?
Lol this might be bias but Everyone would have natural hair and love earth tones and love to read and discuss socialism and issues around privilege(except there would be no privilege and class...so I guess we would be discussing it in past tense?)... and everyone would be queer...;-)
How did you hear about QBG?
I saw someone had it on their downelink so I decided to take a look...

McGill's sort of weird bc it's Quebec, but I don't think their requirements are that much different from other universities in Canada and the USA...what do you want to study?
Hi! I was raised born and raised up here, but lived in atl for 7 years, and am back in school up here again....I have American residency, and am working on dual citizenship...hit me up next time you're up here.
