Profile Information

When did you realize you were a quirky black girl?
I was born and raised in San Fransisco. It was either be quirky or move to Oakland.
What kind of quirky things do you like to do?
Writing (but that's protocol), and other artsy stuff that is required by quirky black folks - funny how we lament about not being able to fit into the "average black person" box but we put ourselves in our own. I don't like Ntozake Shange - will my account be blocked?
How do you embrace your quirky?
I never surpressed it - I encourage other people to embrace it.
What does your ideal quirky black girl world look like?
A world full of shirtless Lenny Kravitz look-alikes.... where Tyler Perry DVD's are burned in a giant kiln.
How did you hear about QBG?
Looking at other quirky websites and stumbled upon it. Honestly.

i have to agree with you..(re: Ntozake Shange). I went to see the play a month ago and was deeply disappointed.

Hilarious! Wanting to burn TP DVD's overrides are "All QBG's must love Shange" policy. Welcome! :)
